It was a “white” weekend this past weekend, it was all about the snow. I felt bad for Lanie (Hellz Bellz) that flew in on Friday- she got caught in the storm and was stuck at the airport for over 5 hours due to a delay! But despite all that, she made it to NYC and we finally caught up on Saturday at the Pepsi Pop Up Retail Shop in New York! She blessed me with her new Hellz Bellz No Frontin’ Bomber Jacket in red from her “Born Bad” Collection, thanks Lanie, I love it! I also met Annie (Cubannie Links) and Samantha (FRUITION) in person, we’ve been chatting on email forever but finally- great meeting you guys! And of course I stopped to say hello to Vashtie (Violette), we chit chatted for a bit then I went off to grab a bite before the afterparty. Couldn’t miss the afterparty because N.O.R.E. was performing, he was good, the party was good! More pics from the event at nitro:licious!

My buddy Mark Kwan invited me to watch the screening of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button last Thursday. The movie was really good and Brad Pitt is hot, more on what I thought of the movie soon on nitro:licious! The movie opens on Christmas Day, go watch it! Thanks Mark!

Last Wednesday, I went by to the Miss Me showroom to check out the Spring 2009 collection (stay tuned for a preview on nitro:licious) and said my goodbye to my gurl Dorothy- until next time. Afterward headed to NikeTown for the final edition of the Nike Playmakers events, until next year something new will arise. I wasn’t in paparazzi mode that night so I depended on YM to snap up pictures, thanks! As usual the event was super packed, DJ Clark Kent was on the 1s and 2s, my gurl Miss Info was doing interviews for Playmakers TV along with an open bar and yummy stadium food! My girl Dorothy from Miss Me was in town last week for a quick 24 hour trip, we met up to shop and I took her to one of my favorite restaurants, Schillers for dinner! It was great seeing you D, thanks for dinner! Every time my friend’s visit from LA it seems to be bad weather, D came right when it started snowing! But it was still fun!

Christmas came early, thanks to Vanessa from Coach for sending over this fab Black Sabrina Patent Large Satchel! I’ve been using it for the past two days, since you know I love big bags its roomy enough for all my stuff (my life) and matches just about everything I wear. And the crinkle patent leather is something I don’t own in my bag family yet, a great edition its really nice. Another feature is the convertible strap that snaps to bottom of the bag when carried as a satchel can be released and transformed into a shoulder bag. Loves it! More pics over at nitro:licious!
