Chris Burden light installation ~ amazing…
My last day in LA was very busy, got lunch with my buddies Johnny and Dorothy then headed to PrivacyWear‘s denim warehouse to pick up some denim (thanks Johnny), their premium denim is pretty amazing. Then off to the new Hellz Bellz office, dope new space, loving it! Kicked it with Lanie, Bam, Jino and the rest of the Hellz team along with Alycia from Daddy’s Girls. Then rushed to visit Pansy at the H&M showroom, got to see Jimmy Choo for H&M before it released, the new holiday stuff and some new spring 2010 stuff. Then finally dinner with B, Lanie, Jino, Julia, Brandon and Kenza at Park’s Korean BBQ- Jino and Lanie claims its the best in LA, it was pretty good. Great chilling, can’t wait to meet again! To end the night, B and I went to check out the Chris Burden light installation, it was absolutely amazing! If you’re in LA, be sure to swing by and snap some pics!

Whenever I go to LA, I stop by Din Tai Fung for lunch, it’s not as good as Joe’s Shanghai in NYC but they have this Red Bean Dumpling dessert that I love there. Afterward, went to some work things and then stopped by to see Jasmine at Oliver Peoples. She showed me the Oliver Peoples, Mosley Tribes and Paul Smith spring 2010 collections, some dope stuff dropping. Can’t wait!

Normally when I’m traveling any where in the world, I’m always down to shop but when I was out in LA I wasn’t in the mood to shop. May be because I’ve come to my senses that my closet is seriously at capacity or simply because I don’t have much luggage room. Whatever the case is, I wasn’t tempted at all…funny.
Instead I just kicked back and relaxed, chilled with Carla and headed to check out the Hello Kitty Art Show at Three Apples Exhibition. It’s pretty small there, not exactly what I expected but there were some cool Hello Kitty stuff on display.

I’ve been in an anti-social mood this whole week, not sure what’s the deal but that’s why I’m staying in today. Feeling weird inside and every lil thing is pissing me off…I hope to snap out of it soon. Anyway, I’ll just update my blog and hopefully it will make me feel better…
I was in LA the beginning of the month to host my good friend Carla’s baby shower (11.07), she’s having a boy! It was my first time hosting, luckily everything went well and everyone had a good time. It was held at a tea house, nice weather so we had it outdoor and it was a teddy bear theme. Super cute and the parents-to-be seemed to have enjoyed it, it was fun times.

Flew to Los Angeles last Friday for my gurl Carla’s baby shower, I was super excited since I was the host and I haven’t seen her for a year! Got in an hour early, kudos to JetBlue and went straight to In-N-Out Burger to fill the stomach since it was getting late. Mad good, wish NYC had that. More LA updates to come…

Thursday, July 30, 2009 ~ Provincetown, MA
Went to Cape Cod (Provincetown, MA) for a few days on July 30 to August 1 with the fam and my doggies, fun trip! Had a great time just eating and doing nothing, I’m ready for another trip already haha. Just added a few snaps from the trip!
