I was running late as usual to my first show so I just basically threw on what I saw in sight haha. It was a busy day on New York Fashion Week Fall 2009 Day 4, went to Donna Karan, Toni Maticevski and William Rast (pics/finale video to come)- missed a few shows and presentations because shows were running late.

I didn’t attend any shows on New York Fashion Week Day 3 (02.15.2009) but instead I stopped by the Tarina Tarantino Soho store to check out the latest collections: Vintage Queen Alice, Victorian Navajo and Electric Koolade plus Tarina made a special appearance so I definitely had to swing by to say hello! I’ve already met Tarina at the Barbie show, she’s so cute in person and I’m so happy she hearts nitro:licious *blush*! It was real fun and chill to just chit chat with Tarina, Melissa, Nina, Jen, Ally and everyone else, I heart all the Tarina Tarantino accessories- super kawaii! I was rockin’ two TT pieces that day too. Instead of real roses for V-Day, B got me the Louis Vuitton x Stephen Sprouse Rose Speedy…loves it!

New York Fashion Week day 2, Valentine’s Day. Spent V-Day covering NYFW, which is not a bad thing at all, B didn’t mind. Early in the morning I got up for the Lacoste show then at 3PM back to the Tent for the Barbie show then ending the night at the Lacoste RED! Collection launch event at Jeffrey. Just a quick outfit post for that day. I’m behind I know, just so lil time and so much to do!

After the Charlotte Ronson show…
Last Friday was the first day of New York Fashion Week, I went to Charlotte Ronson’s Fall 2009 fashion show and then later in the night the Target McQ Market for a private shopping event. It was fun!

This past Wednesday was the Sony VAIO P-Series Lifestyle PC Techno Chic Event took place at SonyStyle’s flagship store in NYC, the designers were in attendance as they revealed their custom window displays and outfits on the live mannequins- each were holding a bite-size Lifestyle PC. To celebrate the start of Fashion Week, a compilation of work from the six designers: threeASFOUR, Elise Overland, Katy Rodriguez, Libertine, Benjamin Cho and Cushnie et Ochs were unveiled in the windows of SonyStyle’s flagship store at 550 Madison Avenue at the event.
The event was pretty cool, I should of brought my Lifestyle PC but decided not to last minute since there will be tons at the event. The live mannequins were pretty amazing, they were really professional, pretty and entertaining, I’m glad I got to see them in person last night. One cute thing that Sony did for the event was prepare miniature hors d’oeuvres for the guests, it was very well thought out and matched the theme. If was a fun night! For a change I was wearing makeup, it was done up by Clinique, which I really liked.

My last fashion show of the season- the Baby Phat / KLS by Kimora Lee Simmons Spring 2009 Collection at Roseland Ballroom. For Baby Phat’s 10th Anniversary the fashion show had DJ Cassidy djing live and a star studded front row, the collection was an improvement from her previous seasons- most of the pieces are wearable. There were a few good looks, like the first sparkly dress and the safari-inspired pieces, the lineup consists of lots of purple, green, peach and blue. The after show party was super fab, it was held at The Plaza Hotel- that place is amazing! It was definitely a good ending to New York Fashion Week, till next season…

Woke up bright and early for the Project Runway 5 Finalist Fashion Show, the last show for me at the Bryant Park Tents this season. It was sad to think that it’s a wrap but I’ll be back next season! After the show went to the MAC Backstage Lounge to check it out and then roamed around the Tents for a bit. Didn’t stay too long since I had to rest up before the Baby Phat/KLS Spring 2009 Fashion Show and after party today. Big thanks to Nana (Bluefly) for everything!
