My last fashion show of the season- the Baby Phat / KLS by Kimora Lee Simmons Spring 2009 Collection at Roseland Ballroom. For Baby Phat’s 10th Anniversary the fashion show had DJ Cassidy djing live and a star studded front row, the collection was an improvement from her previous seasons- most of the pieces are wearable. There were a few good looks, like the first sparkly dress and the safari-inspired pieces, the lineup consists of lots of purple, green, peach and blue. The after show party was super fab, it was held at The Plaza Hotel- that place is amazing! It was definitely a good ending to New York Fashion Week, till next season…

Woke up bright and early for the Project Runway 5 Finalist Fashion Show, the last show for me at the Bryant Park Tents this season. It was sad to think that it’s a wrap but I’ll be back next season! After the show went to the MAC Backstage Lounge to check it out and then roamed around the Tents for a bit. Didn’t stay too long since I had to rest up before the Baby Phat/KLS Spring 2009 Fashion Show and after party today. Big thanks to Nana (Bluefly) for everything! After hitting up the Anna Sui Spring 2009 RTW runway show, Anna Sui held an in-store party at her SoHo store for invited guests to preview the new Fall 2008 collection yesterday. The store was jammed packed with customers, friends, family and Anna Sui herself- she was there the entire time! I got a chance to meet Anna Sui and introduced myself and nitro:licious to her- hopefully she’ll check it my site out! Anna Sui also debuted her new nail polish collection that day- everyone was racking up on it, the nail polish were filled in rose bottles- they were so pretty. If you wanted a Save The Garment Center T-Shirt, they’re selling them at the store for $6, I bought one to support! It was fun just hanging out at the store, the employees are super nice! Afterward I met up with YM to go to the Married to the MOB x Missbehave “The Bad and the Beautiful” NYC fashion week jump-off at the Red Bull Space. Saw a lot of my friends, met a few new contacts, Uffie performed and I had a good time- I was beat by the end of the night from fashion week. Fun times.

Ricky, Me and Dee @ Louis Vuitton

After hitting up the Anna Sui Spring 2009 Fashion Show at the Tents, I headed down to SoHo for the Louis Vuitton Casino Night Event. Louis Vuttion invited me to to a high stakes evening at Casino Louis Vuitton to check out the new Damier Graphite collection. As guests walked in they were greeted with two $100 LV money to play at the casino and sip drinks as they gambled away. Many guests also took the chance to check out the Damier Graphite collection and a lot bought pieces to add to their collection. It was a great night of catching up with my fellow bloggers, friends and of course great seeing Sean Paul come thru as well. At the end of the night, guests left Casino Louis Vuitton with a deck of Damier Graphite cards- hot! Thanks Louis Vuitton!

Vivienne Tam & Me

After seeing the Vivienne Tam Spring 2009 RTW Runway Show at the Tents I headed down to Vivienne Tam’s Soho store for the after show party. The party was a full house, attracted lots of fashionistas, friends, family and Serena Williams came through to support as well (she was sitting front row at the show). Veuve Clicquot Champagne was flowing and cute boys were walking around with yummy hors d’oeuvres sponsored by Wakiya, at the end of the night guests were gifted with a Vivienne Tam peony print envelope and inside is a cute peony print t-shirt.

The party was also a celebration of the launch of her partnership with HP, the first ever HP digital clutch (shown) to debut in Fashion Week runway. The special edition notebook is “gleaming red and bursting with peony flowers- inside the notebook, under the keypad the notebook features an embroidered storage sleeve that helps keep the exterior protected while carried as a clutch.” The peony design was inspired by her “China Chic” style and the peony is the national flower of China. Look out for the HP x Vivienne Tam Special Edition notebook next year!

Getting beautified by Richard Cooley

Just a sneak peek at the Lacoste photoshoot that was shot at the Tribeca Grand Hotel, more images will be released when/if it will be published. It was really fun, love getting my make-up professional done by Richard Cooley, styled by Yuki James and photographed by Vivien Allender. It was super fun, loved it! I will not put up images from the shoot till it’s released, stay tuned!

After the shoot went to the Jack + Bill Fashion Week Party for a bit then had a quick bite and called it a night.
