It was a “white” weekend this past weekend, it was all about the snow. I felt bad for Lanie (Hellz Bellz) that flew in on Friday- she got caught in the storm and was stuck at the airport for over 5 hours due to a delay! But despite all that, she made it to NYC and we finally caught up on Saturday at the Pepsi Pop Up Retail Shop in New York! She blessed me with her new Hellz Bellz No Frontin’ Bomber Jacket in red from her “Born Bad” Collection, thanks Lanie, I love it! I also met Annie (Cubannie Links) and Samantha (FRUITION) in person, we’ve been chatting on email forever but finally- great meeting you guys! And of course I stopped to say hello to Vashtie (Violette), we chit chatted for a bit then I went off to grab a bite before the afterparty. Couldn’t miss the afterparty because N.O.R.E. was performing, he was good, the party was good! More pics from the event at nitro:licious!

Me and Minya (Miss Info)

Last Wednesday, I went by to the Miss Me showroom to check out the Spring 2009 collection (stay tuned for a preview on nitro:licious) and said my goodbye to my gurl Dorothy- until next time. Afterward headed to NikeTown for the final edition of the Nike Playmakers events, until next year something new will arise. I wasn’t in paparazzi mode that night so I depended on YM to snap up pictures, thanks! As usual the event was super packed, DJ Clark Kent was on the 1s and 2s, my gurl Miss Info was doing interviews for Playmakers TV along with an open bar and yummy stadium food! Last night was 10.Deep’s holiday party “The Bail-out” at Element despite the rain I stopped by to show my support. The party was super packed, I didn’t stay too long since I was really tired from a long day so I missed Kid Cudi’s performance. I’m sure it was amazing, bigups to Meka and the 10.Deep peeps! Nina Sky and Me

Last night was a busy night of running around the city hitting up spring 2009 previews and attending events. I ended the night at the Fila “The Melrose” Launch Event at the Fila store, I caught the last 45 mins of event and met some good people. When I got there Nina Sky was performing and the crowd was super hyped up, the event was packed- a great turnout despite the rain. When I was introduced to Nina Sky by my buddy DJ SOUL, they said they read my blog before which I thought was pretty cool! Great meeting/seeing everyone I met last night, you know who you are! On Wednesday I stopped by Skyline Studios to check out the Softwear by Microsoft graphic t-shirt collection hosted by Common. Ashley Olsen and Me

Finally I got a chance to edit the photos from the Mango Flagship Store Re-Opening Party in NYC on Thursday, November 20th! I was really excited about this party because when I got the invite, it stated Ashley Olsen would be there! You all know how I feel about the Olsen twins, too bad Mary-Kate was in Dubai that night! When I got to Mango, Ashley Olsen was there already- she was sipping champagne and chatting with her people. I knew she wasn’t going to stay long, so I braved up and walked up to her to ask for a photo (normally I’m not star struck but I love her)- she was super nice and agreed. She’s soooo cute in a Mango dress, I feel like her twin since we’re both so short haha- she looked taller b/c she had on her YSL shoes haha! That was seriously the highlight of my night, after taking a photo with me she had to go up front to show face to the papparazzis- then about 5 mins of flashing she took off! Monica Cruz, Richie Rich, Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, Genevieve Jones, Behati Prinsloo, Dakota Johnson Griffith were a few of the celebs/models/socialites I spotted (check here for pics), the event was fun! I haven’t checked out Mango’s new collection, I think I’m going to pay a visit this weekend!

Me and Leah (MTTM)

My third stop of the night (November 20th) was to Married to the MOB’s private event at Nike Sportswear (skipping my second stop to the Mango Flagship Re-Opening Party since I haven’t edited the photos yet- pics coming soon). It was a small group of lucky ladies that Leah invited for an evening of music, champagne, caviar and Nike iD ~ dopeness! I chilled for a bit then got on the computer and worked my magic on a pair of Nike Dunk High Premium iD, courtesy of Nike! Thanks Leah for inviting me, it was fun chillin’ and chattin’ up! xoxo!
