Jessica, Me, Lanie and Laurel before dinner…
Two of my really good friends Lanie and Laurel was in town right before New York Fashion Week started, so we went out for dinner along with Jessica at Lure Fishbar in Soho. I chose that spot because no one wanted to make a decision haha and also because I went there once before and the food was pretty good- everyone liked the food so apparently I made a good choice! It was really fun catching up with the ladies, the two LA ladies must come back on a monthly basis. I miss you guys already, come back soon. I promise to visit soon too haha, but its easier if you guys come here plus there’s more to do here…

After dinner, me and Lanie headed over to Vernie‘s crib to chill and visit YOKO. We ended up busting out the tripod to take photos of us, we ran out of ideas on poses so Lanie flipped through Japanese magazines to find some poses with three girls. It was hilarious, although we still suck at posing it was really fun. We need to do it again! xoxo!

I had no clue that there will be lion dances in Manhattan’s Chinatown this past Sunday, I thought it was all over but apparently they were doing it in Brooklyn last week. But it was good, I got to experience a lil bit of Chinese New Year atmosphere since it was a bit quieter for me this year. I’m sad that firecrackers are banned, its just not the same. It was crazy when I was in Hong Kong during Chinese New Year, it def felt a lot different. After watching a lil lion dance I had enough b/c it was super crowded, headed to lunch at Kobma and then finally got my hair did- it was long overdue. Got a dye and trim just in time for New York Fashion Week!
For once the weather was nice, it was in the 60s, I had enjoying the nice weather. I channeled my inner Mary-Kate and rocked small round sunglasses, I love it haha. All pics taken before I did my hair haha…

Grocery shopping at Pathmark with my famz!
Gung Hei Fot Choi! Wishing you all a Happy Chinese New Year, hope everyone has a wonderful time with your family, friends and loved ones. I celebrated CNY last night with my family at a Japanese restaurant called Typhoon it was my second time there the food is pretty good so I will def be back some more. I wore new clothes to signify a new year and collected my first red pocket from my parents! Happy times!

Chilled with Rocky and YM for the whole day on Saturday, went to lunch at Alias for some Waffles and Fried Chicken- we all got that, the waiter was like one for each of you guys? Ha! After lunch it was time to do some shopping, went to Soho and I dropped by H&M and picked up a ton of stuff (post to come on nitro:licious)! After a long day of shopping, we went by to pick up some cupcakes at one of my fave spots Magnolia Bakery, weird thing was there was no line and almost all the cupcakes were sold out- that’s a first encounter for me! But luckily I was able to pick up a couple to satisfy my cravings, then off to dinner at Seoul Garden! Called it a night after, soooo pooped!

Last Friday was a busy day, went to 60 Thompson‘s penthouse suite for a Kooey swimwear launch (more on that later via nitro:licious) and got my nails did there- got them painted in the OPI “Will Always Have Paris” color, a nice plum shade, then off to dinner with Rocky (Nike China) and YM (Freshness/Sneaker News). Rocky was in town for the weekend for vacation so I joined the boys for dinner at Schillers.

Vernie, Jessica, Lanie and Me
Despite the brick weather on Saturday night, I braved the cold and went out to dinner at Lucky Strike for a Girls Night Out with Lanie, Jessica and Vernie. It was my first time eating there but not theirs, I’m hooked I’ll def be back again. Love the food and the ambiance although I recommend going there an hour early because there’s a wait especially on the weekends (what else is new in NYC right?). Time passed by fast since we’re all chatterboxes, it was so nice getting together with my gurls, they’re so much fun and we can talk nasty too haha! During and after dinner we were basically camera whoring, took a ton of pics as you can see. Afterward we went to Vernie’s pad to visit her baby YOKO, she’s so cute can’t wait to see her again! Lanie you need to come back to NYC soon, miss you already! xoxo, until next time…

Kept it low key on Friday since I was still sick, went out for a quick lunch at Pomodoro, another one of my favorite spots! Broke out a couple of my Christmas gifts, new jeans and a new bag!
