It was Mother’s Day and my baby Puffy’s 10th birthday this past Sunday, went to lunch with B, my bro Steven, Anny and Shawn at Brown (one of my fave lunch spots) then shopping in Soho since it’s so nice out. Rocked out my DIY Chain Jacket that my reader Tina made me, love it! Then dinner with the famz for mommy at Sapporo East! The food was yummy as usual, came home in time to celebrate my baby’s birthday with some doggy cupcakes and snacks from ButterCup’s Paw-tisserie. I love my mommy and baby Puffy!

Last Wednesday, went out to lunch with Gabby from Gilt Groupe (one of my fave shopping sites) at Balthazar, I’ve been there several times and the food is really good. It was also really great meeting Gabby in person! Then at night met up with my friend Helen from Redpanda Village since she’s leaving to Thailand for 1.5 months to buy materials for new bags, can’t wait to see what she’s up to! I’m wearing my Matthew Williamson for H&M blue blazer again, I love it so much!

Took Dorothy to lunch at Joe’s Shanghai since she never had Shanghainese food before, so glad she liked it. Then shopped for mad hours in Soho and finished up with dinner at Nyonya, she never had Malaysian food neither. Met a new friend, Sandee, after dinner we headed to Magnolia Bakery to get some cupcakes, Dorothy got lucky there was no line when we got there but as we were choosing out cupcakes the line started forming…nuts. So good chilling with her but too bad she had to leave the next day, miss you!

Saturday was a super nice day out, it was finally warm and sunny! I was so happy that it was warm enough to wear open toe shoes, I rocked my new Jeffrey Campbell Doo Lace-Up Peep Toe Shoes- they are so fab. The shoes are super sexy featuring a corset lace-up and cut-out back. They’re also very comfy, even though it is 4 1/2 inches high the 3/4″ platform helps a a lot, I wore it out shopping in Soho for a few hours and I was fine. The shoes also got lots of attention, several girls came up to me and told me how amazing the shoes are and asked where they can get ‘em. Super hot, I couldn’t resist and ordered the black pair as well (wanted the grey pair too but too bad they’re out of size 6). You can cop the shoes at FreePeople.com and ModCloth.com.
Met up with my peeps YM, Christine, Nico and two new friends from Singapore: Han Sern and Patricia both from Nike (nice meeting you guys) for lunch at ALIAS (I was craving me some Waffles & Fried Chicken). Afteward went by to the ALIFE & A.R.C. Courtyard Sale, it was packed but lots of great stuff for sale- did any of you guys go? Drucker was kind enough to lace your gurl with some gear, thanks. Then off to Soho to shop, surprisingly I didn’t cop anything!

Jessica, Lanie, Me and Simone
Last night I went to The Stanton Social for dinner with my lovely gurls: Lanie (Hellz Bellz), Simone (Signature Apparel) and Jessica (Fatlace), it has been about 2 years since I’ve ate there. I still remember the day I went in 2007 because we spent a lot of money in there haha, but the food and ambiance was really good- I love this spot. We all enjoyed our meal, don’t look at the small plates/tapas they totally will fill you up…we had to lean back and rest after eating all of it. My favorites are the Kobe Beef Burger and Social Mac & Cheese, yum! But we couldn’t resist dessert especially Lanie haha. It’s always fun on a Girls Night Out, wish we can do it weekly but Lanie resides in LA (move back already!). Be sure to go on an empty stomach and have lots of time chill, we spent about 2 hours in there. We definitely could of spent more quality time in there but we had to give up our seats for another reservation, boo! Have you guys tried this spot yet? If not you should def go, be prepared to drop some loot and make sure you make reservations, it’s always packed there. God I’m hungry now!

Tuesday night was a night that I’ve been anticipating for a couple of weeks already, for those that follow me on Twitter already know that I’ve attended a Jimmy Choo x Vogue event. It was a super amazing event, loved every moment of it. I walked into Jimmy Choo not owning a pair but at the end of the night I walked out with my first pair, courtesy of Jimmy Choo! Who wouldn’t love a night of champagne, sexy shoes, exotic bags, hanging with your bff and mingling with fabulous people? Fun night, I’m really happy that such an iconic brand is taking notice of the blogs- big thanks to Jimmy Choo and Vogue!

At S Factor for the first stop for Purple Lab’s launch!
Friday was a long and fun day even though I’m still sick *cough cough*, went out for a 5 hour fun filled launch event for Purple Lab‘s “Huge Lips, Skinny Hips” lipglosses (more on that later on nitro:licious) then met up with Jessica and Christine for dinner that was planned weeks ago at Congee Village. It was great catching up with my gurls and cheap food is always the best! We need to do this more often! When Twilight releases we’ll be crashing Christine’s lols! Also love my new black cut/slashed jeans!
